Job description

As our new electrical technician, you'll be part of a specialist electrical team that delivers a bespoke control panel design and manufacturing service which accommodates almost any specification to the high standards of quality we're known for.   

The job role requires an experienced individual to work both autonomously and as part of a team, involved in the following activities:

  • Building control panels by understanding, interpreting and following electrical drawings and schematics produced by the design team
  • Testing own work, diagnosing and addressing any faults and contributing to any adjustments/re-designs needed for bespoke work and prototype
  • Producing other related products as needed to maintain stock or adapt current stock items
  • Carrying out production work efficiently and within timescales required by customers

This role entails working hours of 7.50am to 4.20pm, Monday to Friday.

Person specification

Ideally with relevant apprenticeship/professional training, you will have:

  • Proven experience in building and wiring control panels
  • The ability to correctly understand, interpret and review electrical drawings and schematics
  • Proficiency in checking over your own work and fault-finding, diagnosing, and improving problems
  • A strong commitment to maintaining our reputation for complex bespoke work of the highest quality
  • An efficient way of working to ensure a throughput of builds that meet agreed customer timescales
