We are the leading supplier of door drive and control equipment to the UK industrial door market. We have long-standing and trusted advisor relationships with our customers and over the last 12 years have grown our sales year on year, and we are not done yet. Our current recruitment for Warehouse staff will suit conscientious and committed individuals looking for long term stable employment with regular hours.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm (40 hours per week), including a 30-minute lunch break and shorter breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Job Description

As a new member of our Warehouse team, you’ll join a close-knit group who work effectively together to pick and pack customer orders. Your role will play a vital part in delivering the outstanding customer experience we’re known for—by meeting agreed deadlines, ensuring a high level of accuracy in picking, and packing orders carefully to protect our high-quality products.

The key responsibilities entail:

  • Accurately picking items to fulfil orders—many of which include multiple components—from a range of over 3,000 products, using a scanning system soon to be introduced.
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks to assist in picking and packing.
  • Verifying picks made by colleagues and correcting any discrepancies.
  • Packing items securely using appropriate materials and equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Supporting other warehouse duties as required.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive and competitive employment package designed to support you. This includes a structured induction and ongoing training tailored to the role, featuring high-quality internal technical instruction as well as access to external courses and programmes.  Our benefits include competitive salaries, a 5% employer pension contribution, and – following successful completion of your probation – 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, private medical insurance, an employee assistance programme, and access to a company sick pay scheme. You’ll also be eligible for a sales-related bonus, a generous long service award, a cycle to work scheme, funded social events, and free onsite parking with complimentary tea and coffee.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, friendly team in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Person Specification

Previous warehouse experience is not essential; however, applicants must be comfortable carrying out manual tasks in a fast-paced environment and willing to operate a forklift truck once training has been provided.  A strong focus on accuracy as well as efficiency is essential.

We are looking for a flexible team player who is happy to assist wherever needed and who can follow warehouse procedures, including those in place to ensure everyone's safety.

Please submit your CV and covering information, stating why you are suitable for the position including your salary expectations, and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
