BEA Condor Sensors combine motion-detecting radar with presence-detecting active infrared technology

17 April 2024

The BEA Condor Sensor combines the technology and features of both the Falcon (radar) and Milan (active infrared) to provide a detection area to identify all vehicles and still objects positioned close to the door.

It is commonly used on industrial automatic doors to filter out both pedestrians and cross traffic as well as detecting stationary objects, ensuring a reliable and efficient operation to provide an energy efficient solution with minimal heat loss.

The Condor can be mounted at a height of 3.5m - 6.0m, but for lower mounting heights of 2m - 3.5m, the Condor  XL is the ideal option for limited space applications.

It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, making it versatile for various industrial settings.

The Spotfinder can be used as a visual aid to set up the infrared detection field. Once installed, all parameters are set from ground level via the BEA Remote.

On a site where Induction loops may not be suitable, a Condor could be used as an alternative, cutting down your installation time on site.

So why wait?  Speak to GfA UK Sales today to discover the BEA Condor Sensor range and its capabilities…experience the future of sensing technology with the Condor Sensor from BEA and unlock a world of possibilities in industrial environments.
