GfA Presents BEA Sensors

12 April 2024

In this new series we will explore various BEA products and the technology they incorporate within their industrial sensors. We will cover the Falcon, Milan, Condor, LZR® -I100 / -I110, LZR® -H100 and LZR® -Widescan sensors for industrial doors, along with the Matrix (induction loop controller) and the tools that help to simplify the installation process.

In this first post we take a look at the Falcon.

Falcon - Opening Sensor for Industrial Doors

The BEA Falcon Sensor utilises radar technology to detect motion; providing accurate and responsive activation for industrial applications.

The Falcon is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, making it versatile for various industrial settings. The detection filter is commonly adjusted to filter out pedestrians and cross traffic in industrial automatic doors, ensuring reliable and efficient motion detection.

The Falcon can be mounted at a height of 3.5m - 7.0m, but for lower mounting heights of 2m - 3.5m, the Falcon XL is the ideal option for limited space applications. Once installed, all parameters are set from ground level via the BEA Remote.

The Falcon is known for its reliability and durability, making it a trusted choice for industrial doors and gates.

So why wait?  Speak to GfA UK Sales today to discover the BEA Falcon sensor range and its capabilities…experience the future of sensing technology and unlock a world of possibilities in industrial environments.
